"Having always wanted to study Revelation but not sure where to start, I was so glad to find this book. I had thought that Revelation might be too difficult for the lay person. I found Mr. Hathcoat's book easy to understand. I not only learned about Revelation, but many other prophetic books in the Bible. Mr. Hathcoat's book takes you through other parts of the Bible to help lay a foundation for the book of Revelation. The End is more than just a book about Revelation, the author has a way of including biblical knowledge that will help in other studies, as well. For example, he explains that that number seven is God's perfect number.
The [second] chapter was a bit more difficult than I had anticipated, but well worth the read. Mr. Hathcoat shows his readers layered prophecy, helping them to understand what Scripture meant for the audience during Bible times and what it means for us or the future.
The book includes discussion questions for group or individual study. Though written for adults, this would be a great book to go through with high school students. College professors make it their job to disprove the Bible and ridicule those students who believe the Bible to be God's word. Take time to study this book with your son or daughter before (s)he heads off to college. My children are 12 and 7, but I have already told them when they get older we'll study Revelation and end time prophecies and use Mr. Hathcoat's book."
